Inspired by the craft of Japanese wood joinery and using American millworking techniques, [jnt] is an assembly without any hardware. Each member serves a purpose, each it tooled to suit that purpose and interface with the larger assembly. Gravity and friction alone hold the final piece together. Assembly can be done by a single person and each component breaks down to a single modular element for ease of transport and assembly.
